Hi, my name is Renaldo Shephard, Jr. I go to Cedar Grove High School. I am in the 11th grade and I attended the Teen Basic Empowerment Program on June 14-15, 2014.

The program helped me in many ways. I learned that I can make a change, as well as, the importance of setting goals so you don’t forget anything. Also, I learned it’s important to have respect for everyone. Secondly, I learned to be dependable, and have maturity for someone to rely on me. I also learned your character takes you long way, and makes you who you are. I learned about leadership and responsibility. I achieved a lot from this program and hope you let it continue so it can help someone else.
